I mean, they always should’ve been spooked. Collecting money while directly facilitating piracy is exactly what got things like LimeWire killed. The Yuzu lawsuit wasn’t a surprise at all. They did a lot to help progress Switch emulation, but stupid things like working on patches for leaked TOTK meant they couldn’t even argue that they were against piracy. Because the TOTK leak was only available via piracy, and they were directly working on hotfixes while collecting payment from their Patreon supporters.
The big issue is that they were supporting a game that was only available via piracy. Tears of the Kingdom leaked like two weeks early, but you could only access the game via piracy. Someone stole a game cart from a retailer, ripped it, and illegally uploaded it. And Yuzu immediately began working on patches for it. So any “we don’t support piracy” claims they may have been able to use went right out the fucking window. Because they were directly supporting a game that was only available via piracy.
It was a dumb move through and through, and I’m honestly surprised they didn’t get slapped with a lawsuit as soon as the first post-leak patch happened.
Pretty sure the dev mentioned they were going to release the source code as well, so it won’t really be proprietary anymore. Either way I still prefer melonDS but at least there are options
As someone that went from a 4a to a 6a I’m really glad as soon as the rumors started to fly around the 8a I grabbed a refurbished 7 pro for a buck and a half CHEAPER than this AI shitfest.
Wait, is that not already an option? My phone came with Samsung Wallet as the default, but when I downloaded Google Pay (or whatever it’s called now after 4 name changes) it asked me which one to use and I’ve never seem Samsung Wallet again.
Nothing Ear (a) could be the best sub-€100 earbuds on the market The Nothing Ear (a) is going to be pretty similar to the Nothing Ear, with the big differences being the waterproof rating and the battery life. So we’re still looking at dual connection, Active Noise Cancellation, and quick charging to get you 10 hours of playback in just 10 minutes.
On the battery life front, you’ll get eight hours of playback with ANC off, and the case will get you 38 hours of playback total. The buds are going to have a waterproof rating of IP54, while the case will get a IP55 rating. All of this for just €100.
Is this better than most other earbuds? I’ve had 2 pair total and have honestly never had a use case for more than 3-4 hours at a time before returning them to the case. But they never sit around not in the case. So I can’t really tell what their charge time is.
