IMHO Russia has been doing all they can through subversion, mis-information, efforts as destablilization, sowing seeds of distrust in elections, and democratic government, etc, etc, which is to say they are already "at war" with NATO, they just don't really want NATO and aligned countries to know and act on that fact.
Why bother publishing this garbage? Russia can’t even take a country with 1/4 the population playing with leftover weapons from NATO countries that are decades out of date. Poland alone is itching to steamroll Russia, which has struggled to gain ground despite having an overwhelming air power superiority (which has been denied airspace access) and personnel advantage.
People seem to forget that the first gulf war was fought against an army highly equipped by Russian forces that folded like a tent under NATO forces. The only thing they’ve ever had was the threat of nuclear war, and unless they’re gonna push the nuclear option before Putin dies of his illness the clock is against them.
It won’t be the Russians trying to invade Poland. They’ll try to destabilise NATO and then conquer the smaller countries one by one. It’s true that Russia stands no chance against a unified and resolute Europe and they know that perfectly well. But if we get a few more fascist governments in the EU, that resolve may fail.
