There were about 200 people at Stonewall (including MAPs and youth). This was not the only event where many MAPs protested together against MAP oppression or simply had fun.

There haven been MAP(ish) events of a similar size, some of them not that long ago:

  1. There were about 60 BLs at Berlin pride in 2000. There is a picture of BLs at the Berlin pride in I believe 2001 (see image below).
  2. In 1998 in Munich there was a protest called “Come out – Lesben, Schwule, Pädophile” (Come out - lesbians, gays, pedophiles)” A poster (see image below) of the protest states: “Lesbians, gays, pedophiles: come out to the protest 28.6. 11:00 am, sendlinger tor platz vikualientmarkt uni and to the parties in the evening” http://protest-muenchen.sub-bavaria.de/artikel/1151
  3. NAMbLA used to have several meetings each months in different cities & sometimes participated in protests or organized them themselves (see image below)
  4. In the early 2000s, 50 BLs met at IBLD in the Netherlands.
  5. B4U-ACT has been holding workshops & symposia since 2008, sometimes with up to 30 or so MAP attending: https://www.b4uact.org/workshops/2018-symposium-expanding-focus/
  6. IPCE used to hold international meeting of MAP groups in the 80s, 90s, and maybe even after that. For example, at the 1996 meeting there were MAPs from Denmark, Germany, Finland, New Zealand, The United Kingdom, France, Greece, Sweden and The Netherlands. In 1992, 40 people attended. You can read more about many of the IPCE conferences here: https://brongersma.info/index.php?search=ipce
  7. “[F]or the second year in a row, the United States was represented at the eighth annual International Lesbian and Gay Association conference solely by a delegation from NAMBLA. This year’s conference […] gathered together some 150 delegates and observers from 22 countries for a week of discussion and resolution writing. […] This year’s ILGA saw a rather strong pedophile presence. NAMBLA had four members there […] In addition, the Australian Pedophile Support Group contributed two delegates. In sheer psychical terms this made us rather visible, and cast fear in the hearts of some delegates”

The next two examples are about MAPs meeting at art events:

  1. “TOKYO—Onstage in his tight white T-shirt, mini-backpack, and very short shorts, Goldenboy looks like a fat cartoon of a six-year-old Japanese schoolboy. Which is appropriate since he’s sexually attracted to them. “Who likes boys and shota together?” he asks. (Shota refers to sexualized boys and youths.) A young man in a rhinestone tiara and a middle-aged guy holding a huge pink satin cushion gleefully put up their hands along with the rest of the 100-strong, overwhelmingly male audience. “Who likes boys and men together?” Goldenboy asks next. This time, there is a displeased murmur. A group of drunk shirt-and-tied businessmen at the front lower their hands. So do the tiara guy, the cushion guy, and about half the crowd. “I thought so.” Tonight, grown men aren’t hot. The packed house is much more interested in little boys and, astoundingly, proud of it.” https://web.archive.org/web/20071012103114/http://www.walrusmagazine.com/articles/2007.05-boku-no-pico/
  2. “Speakers from three bishōjo game production companies are on stage, but Fukumimi continues to be the most provocative. “I want to make a full-on pedophile (gachi pedo) game,” he says. “All the ages would be clearly indicated.” He is challenging the norms of the Ethics Organization of Computer Software, a self-regulatory body for the bishōjo gaming industry, which requests that characters appearing underage to be noted as 18 years of age. Fukumimi is also challenging the norms of players by using the word “pedophile” (pedo) as opposed to “lolicon” (rorikon) […] “Does anyone want this?” he says, raising the first of many objects emblazoned with images of the cute girl characters he draws. A loud roar as the audience – every single person in the room – shouts, “Yes!” So if Fukumimi is a pervert, he is not alone. “Raise your hand if you want to be in the competition,” Ayumi says. Many, many hands go up at once. “Everyone with their hand up now is a lolicon!” “ ( https://dukespace.lib.duke.edu/dspace/bitstream/handle/10161/14371/Galbraith_duke_0066D_13809.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y )

I archived the websites providing the information about Berlin & The Netherlands on the web archive, but since then it has decided to exclude the websites from its archive. Here’s e.g. where I have the information about the Netherlands from: https://www.boychat.org/bcd/2005/925319.htm
