Torba is reopening media uploads to all users, with limits. It's essentially exactly what I suggested 6 weeks ago. It almost feels like he just had to wait until it seemed like HIS idea and not Joe's, but that could just be my narcissism.

Only one problem I can see with it. People have moved on. A lot of people moved on and formed friend networks other places like Fedi and Twitter.

This has the feel of when the old rundown chicken joint or nightclub in town puts out a new drink special.

That's cool, but no one cares. We're over here now. What good is posting memes now that there's no one there to see them?!

I have gained 250-300 followers on Fedi in 4 days.

Now those numbers aren't Earth shattering but, these are very active users in a smaller community. However many followers I may have on Gab, a large large part of them are inactive.

There's no reason I should have trouble getting a healthy level of engagement here. Should be able to farm plenty of dopamine. 😁
