Changing your password and clearing active sessions is important to keep your account secure. It’s a good practice to change your password every few months and clear active sessions on devices you no longer use. This can help prevent unauthorized access to your Poast account.

You can change your password by following these steps:

1. Click on Settings on the left hand menu (On mobile, tap your profile picture at the top left of the screen)
2. Click Change Password under the Security section (on mobile, tap preferences, then tap Change Password)
3. Follow the instructions on the Change Password page to create a new password.

Considering donating to Poast? We offer many options to suit every type of user!

Want to donate monthly? You can set up a monthly donation at patron.poa.st that will be charged every month on the date you start. You can cancel, modify or even request refund for your latest donation if you change your mind. For most this is the easiest and safest solution as we do not retain any information except donation amount, your account email and the date you enrolled. All user data is stored on Stripe and all credit card payments are processed by Stripe with no user info crossing Poast hardware. Donating via this method is automated and you get a cool Patron (or custom one if you’d like) user badge!

Do you prefer to make one time donations? You can do that too! You can make a single one time donation via give.poast.org. We use Stripe for these payments too, so the only link to you is your email and the donation amount. This option is best for people who want to make a single larger contribution once or twice a year. Custom user badges are available for people who make one time donations, just ask someone on staff!

Want even more anonymity while using Fiat? You can do that too at liberapay.com/poast. You can set up one time, weekly, monthly or yearly donations via Liberapay. The best part about it? The only information we see is “Anonymous donation for Poast via Liberapay.” They handle everything and mask all of your user information! The downside is we can’t verify these donations at all and we will not include a custom user badge with Liberapay donations.

Fiat not your thing at all and you prefer to use crypto? We offer that too! Check out the page at poa.st/donate/crypto and pick your preferred coin. Want a custom badge? Message one of our staff and let them know your TX ID and request a badge.
