@PeachySummer@RustyCrab Like the saying goes, money turns problems into costs. TBH I like the problem solving challenge of maximizing the number of things I can prepare for with limited money. Being rich would let me do more fun stuff, like buying my Congressman or giving Null a million dollars to sue every troon on Twitter. But I think someone wouldn't be good at being rich without first having the practice of being efficient with money.
@RustyCrab This is why it's important to establish sarcasm at the start of taking a job. He should expect he's going to get a snippy response like "I don't know, I'll tell you when I start it".
The year is 2095. Jeff Cliff is still alive. He has cured aging by never having contact with germs. He keeps telling people to mask up for covid. No one knows what this means.
"It's almost time to restart your device." NO IT FUCKING ISN'T, YOU WORTHLESS SHITSTAINS WHO CALL YOURSELVES MICROSOFT ENGINEERS, IT FUCKING WELL ISN'T
I am on my last remaining straws with malwarebytes. In the new version they're not only promoting their VPN more but it has degraded my laptop's performance severely too (13900hx). Turning realtime protection helps but I have a feeling it probably nerfs it even if you do that.
I need some sort of AV because this is a work computer and supply chain attacks are a thing. Is there any good anti malware these days? (Windows defender is fucking awful and makes your computer run like mud so don't say that)
lately I've been frustrated searching images on kagi and not finding things all of the sudden.
I have now discovered it's because Google's index has degraded even more and it's poisoning their result pool :niggavoid:
@a7@RustyCrab If it's not clearly indexed on KYM or Imageflip, you won't find it there. Google got big by being a proper full-Web indexing service. It exposed everything to people who knew how to search. Now it searches a heavily curated version of the web, not the whole thing. I can't prove it, but I think it finally got too expensive to index and look through everything they have, so they pared it down and figured it's good enough.
