Even Fairphone made themselves irrelevant to me by dropping the headphone jack. What an absolutely stupid decision to make especially for a device like that.

Yeah. XCover 6Pro is the only device that met my requirements and is the one I went with.

I believe in voting with your wallet. Giving money to companies that practice anti-consumer behaviour sends them the signal that you’re okay with what they’re doing. I’m not okay with it so I’m sticking to my principles.

I never bought a device with non-removable battery either and now thanks to EU it seems that I don’t ever need to either.

I also bought an older model MacBook because it had a better keyboard aswell as HDMI port and SD-card reader. Now the newest models have them again because enough people like me refused to buy the inferior models.

Samsung XCover 6 Pro. Has a removable battery aswell.

It’s effectively the same thing. This just does it automatically instead of the user having to toggle the feature on and off.

One headphone jack is enough. Just pair it with a powerful amp and dac like on the LG V-series.

I'm tired with all this Big-Phone-Elitism

I’m someone with relatively small hands, plus I want my phone to be on the smaller side since I prefer to use my tablet/computer/tv to watch content. But this trend where many manufacturers tend to keep futures away from smaller phones to drive people to bigger phones is driving me crazy and really makes it hard for me to buy...

In the US many people do. Not so much outside of it. Personally I’ve wanted a truck ever since I was a kid and saw one plowing snow from our parking lot. Now I have one and I LOVE it.

Club soda and Vichy or what ever you call it in english. Especially the ones that have salt in them but even just plain carbonated water. No thanks.

I haven’t been excited about a new smartphone since 2016 or so. I’m not in the target audience for any of the big brands.

They better not “upgrade” it with built-in battery and no headphone jack. If it wasn’t for XCover 6 Pro I’d still be using LG V20
