The ironic thing about people citing the Dunning-Kruger effect is that it isn't real, and was confirmed to just be a statistical artifact of that paper's methodology.
Everybody just wanted to believe the idea, so it went unquestioned for twenty years.
All skill levels both under- and overestimate their performance at the same frequency. More skilled people just tend to be less wrong about it.

This kind of place works best when it's treated like a bar where you just shoot the shit and hang out. Fedi users on this side seem mostly aware of that. It's a place where you might share a few hatefacts, engage in some bants, make fun of faggots/niggers, but also have a normal life with normal hobbies.
@Goalkeeper@Silverwolf@Owl I've downloaded via torrent just fine hundreds of times. My ISP only got mad once when I left something out seeding for others to download. I assume because in that case I'm the one distributing copies, so that's when copyright law can really bring out the big guns.

People's biggest mistake is only using text prompts rather than inputting their own seed images. If you seed in even something very simplistic, you can turn a stick figure into an awesome anime character with ease.
Text-only prompts suck because A.I. doesn't know how to count or who should be doing what, so "a sad woman and a happy man" usually results in both characters happy or both sad. Text-only also makes some funny homonym mistakes; e.g. any human would interpret "magical pike" to refer to the weapon and not the fish, but it doesn't really know, so enjoy your fish blade.
@RustyCrab I'd be sympathetic if these same people hadn't danced on the graves of tens of millions of Americans being replaced by illegal immigrants. Ya love to see the tables turn.
