Finally figured out monero and sent a little your way @graf
If anyone else wants a few tips for setting up. I buy bitcoin using the strike mobile app, that and swanbitcoin are safer than coinbase which gives pretty much all your activity to feds.
Always store most of your btc on a hardware wallet!
Got the monero gui at getmonero.org/downloads/
Made a wallet, and I did the local node option which mind you TAKES FOREVER to sync. It is safer than using "remote node" though
Then I used this site to exchange some btc and send it to my newly created monero wallet: changenow.io/
I know ppl recommend to hop a few wallets with monero, personally I'm not worried and I just sent it directly 🤠
