I dont really have a problem with it because HD2 is actually fun, unlike other live service games. Its cool that power can't be bought with cash, but the system all right there if they ever change their mind and decide to be shitty

@icedquinn gacha players are extra fucked by this too - I swear each of those games has a 're-roll' guide - which is where you spend the free currency they dish out at the beginning to hook you and if you didnt get enough good shit you start over with a new account. These guides tell you when to do this and how effectively to blast thru the beginning of the game to reach that point again

Thats not all they've done isnt it? Aren't they further restricting or even banning lootboxes? I dont remember the specifics but something is cooking over there.

Also much like movies, western video games design around China so they can sell there as well as the western market, cuz China sales typically double the profit.
