@Floppa so after working through some issues with our media, with @matty and his NCD streaming service utilizing our datacenter, I've come to the realization your issues with streams cutting out and creating like 1000s of stream clips instead of one long stream VOD is 100% on us.

we've been using NTT as our upstream since early last year but issues out of our control required us to swap to what used to be our backup circuit on Hurricane Electric who has very clearly oversold their transit in and out of SIX in Seattle. all of that traffic going to Montana is over-saturating that circuit as well.

what this means is during peak hours the pipe we use to transit data to and from the datacenter in Liberty Lake, WA is overfilled with garbage that isn't our data and we have to fight for the same space in that pipe with dozens of hundreds of thousands of other people.

we have a plan to bring on a new upstream (LUMEN) but that has stalled for some time due to other reasons also out of our hands but the owner of our ISP has put the screws to them this morning so hopefully this coming week that route will be lit and we can stop using this garbage to propagate our retardism across the internet friend
