we try to exist online and they try to erase us from here, too. bickering and arguing about how we're not real men, sending trans men death and sexual assault threats, acting like they're saviors for kicking out the "dangerous ugly men" from the queer community, as if we don't belong to it at all. i refuse to be erased. i refuse to sit in silence while people tell me my problems don't matter because now i "have male privilege". I don't. once people find out what my legal name is they view me as a woman. strangers however view me as a cis man and will deny me help, either through programs, or because i'm a "strong young man, i should be able to pick myself up by my boot straps." i'm not white. i'm not abled. i'm proud to be a trans man and i will be here to fight for other trans men's rights to have a platform to speak, and spaces to occupy. i will not rest until trans men & mascs have safe places to be and meet other trans men. trans men are queer. we belong here. we are taking up the space we rightfully deserve and we are not leaving.

i think we as queers may have fallen off a bit when we changed our messaging to "trans men are men, trans women are women, non-binary people are non-binary, we're just like you, we can be quiet and docile about our genders if you want" as opposed to "it's my choice what i do with my body; fuck off"

why are we trying to assimilate ourselves into a system that is rotten from the roots? patriarchy doesn't fucking work. "trans men are our oppressors because they're men" throw yourself into the sun

hormones should be available over the counter at every single pharmacy in the world being trans fucking rocks actually. why should i have to be gentle and silent about that shit when it's cool as fuck. anti-trans politicians should be getting shit thrown at them when they harp on about how much of a threat we are

ok so now that finnster's come out as genderfluid and started taking hrt, can we stop trying to force people to choose labels and define their identity? everyone's always talking about support for queer people with unconventional presentations and identities but when someone's not sure about what their gender identity actually is, they get criticized for it. finn said in his video that part of the reason why he took so long with coming out was because he wasn't sure what label actually applied to him (and he still isn't even sure if genderfluid feels like the right label for him) and the debate surrounding it was making him uncomfortable. which kind of sucks tbh.
