You realize most Android phones also don’t have a headphone jack, right? This isn’t an Android vs iPhone issue.

Sometimes it’s justified. If an app looks like it was designed for Windows 3.1, Android C, or god forbid Motif, it just screams “hasn’t been maintained in decades”, and it looks terrible.

But yeah, I don’t have any aesthetic complaints with Bitwarden. It’s neither pretty nor ugly, just functional.

Um, what? I’m using one in my Pixel 8 Pro.

Nope, that’s been part of Gboard forever.

Gboard is frustrating because it’s the best keyboard I’ve found, but it also has so much obvious room for improvement, but Google had hardly worked on it at all for years. For example, the way it handles ellipses and hyphens makes you fight the keyboard if you want to follow the rules of written English.

How do you turn on swipe typing? And autocorrect, for that matter?

Oh, you need to install the version marked “beta”. Still a pretty terrible typing experience from what I can tell.

When I worked at Google I seriously had someone try to tell me that making a key fob waterproof was challenging. I never did figure out what that guy was thinking.

Ever look at a weather report? Predicting the future according to a model whose inputs are measurements of things we can’t directly perceive is something we do all the time.

You’re seriously gonna argue that having a complete history of a battery’s usage and data from phones of the same model doesn’t tell you anything more than a user’s gut feeling about how well the battery is performing?
