I don’t know if anyone needs to hear it, but I also know June is a time when a lot of feelings rise to the surface.

You could be someone completely different. You could stop pretending to be someone you aren’t. It’s just a matter of taking a million little steps, but the first is absolutely the hardest.

It may take years but guess what? That time will pass anyway.

They’ve started talking about interviewing the folks on the ship in Baltimore.

I just wanted to say that as someone who was in the Navy, who studied collisions, who experienced a few close calls and an actual collision: it’s very probable they did everything right and possible and couldn’t avoid the outcome.

Moving ships like that is applying small forces over long periods and leaving and entering harbors is a game of minimal clearances.
