Biden has kept 27 promises, compromised on another 5, and has another 34 in progress. He has been stalled by Republicans on 31 and broke just one promise.
If the democrats had supported him, he may have had enough votes in his own caucus. But nobody dares be seen working together. (in fact if there was rumor the democrats would consider supported him that would have driven his republican supporters away)
Does anyone know if they do join mid war - does that mean either Russia has to leave immediately, or else the defence pact gets triggered automatically and all of NATO gets pulled into it?
Or are preexisting wars not covered by the NATO plan?
lemmy.ml is about 20/80. There is fairly small group over there that make thousands of posts to keep stirring up bullshit. They love /c/usa and post a ton of bullshit there, btw.
If course, if you dip into the tankie communities directly, you are going to find the full spectrum of people and not just the vocal minorities. It’ll quickly appear to shift that 20/80 ratio I mentioned a second ago.
That instance has some popular communities, but just be prepared for a random tankie to divebomb the comments. However, it’s usually the same jackasses that do so they are easy to block.
The way I see it, people should be free to express their views with other like-minded people. I don’t go to tankie communities and complain and I expect the same in return. It’s those fuckers that go out of their way to start shit that piss me off.
From what I have been able to tell, one of the “clans” is mainly based in India. I had one of them admit to me yesterday that he was a paid “researcher”, believe it or not. They tend to be fairly strict with their trolling hours, so they will stop responding during conversations when they “go off shift”. Based on the volume of “content” they post, I believe they have quotas to fill or just function as a pseudo-advertising group for shit media outlets.
I wish I was making this shit up, actually. They were the first clan I saw on Lemmy when I joined so I have basically been stalking them to see how they operate. Occasionally, I’ll trash a few of their threads when they start shit or if they decide to jump out of their own instance.
Hell, it could just be one or two people running multiple accounts, actually. Each account has its own personality, but their methods for trolling are nearly identical.

I do agree though that his titles and thumbnails are annoyingly clickbaity. Perhaps it would be better to just title the post as "Reporting from Ukraine: 11 Feb"?
Nope, normal military planning. Or: Being prepared for a worst case scenario, where Russia somehow manages to build up their forces after massive losses much faster as the realistic decade+.
