I must admit I like the Vivo way better, it’s sharper clearer and has better colors. classic Film is clearly inferior by now, and if you want that retro look, it should be an optional effect.
I must say I’m generally impressed by Xiaomi cameras in general, but the blow out in light areas in many scenes is annoying to me, my Xiaomi 13T Pro does that too. To me it seems Vivo simply does an overall better job. Maybe experts disagree, but if it’s because they find the duller pictures more “natural” or "authentic"I think they completely miss the point of taking a picture to begin with.
It’s absolutely amazing when the camera can see better than the human eye, and they can especially in the dark now. Human eyes are not perfect, and a digital camera should not be faulted for doing a better job. Like some professional photographers seem to believe.
