@triodug@vriska IIRC, he was getting loads – like tens of k – on Patreon for the game (beats me why). He was basically doing it for the grift at this point. Whether there was actually going to be a finished product is another story altogether and anything in the interim was just pretence. Of course, he was caught in 8K HDR Dolby Vision 10-bit this time around and it was too much for anyone working with/for him.
