@diazepam they think it does that "extern" is supposed to do (it doesn't). I have had so many bugs now where global variables have different values in different CPP modules and it creates heisenbugs.

@RustyCrab they absolutely dont, static in c for globals only defines linkage. ask them if they took their dementia medication
