@Royper @DocScranton @echo no real need to stir it. Stew kind of self-stirs the flavours around with the convection of the broth. Since it's covered even stuff sticking out of the water is getting evenly cooked. I did take a little taste test and it tastes really good.

@Royper @DocScranton @echo oh man I forgot about it and it simmered for an extra 30 minutes but it was for the best. That scarp pork is so tender! This is some bomb ass stew.
