@lapin@Iffine What really fucking sucks is that PC players get fucked out of the Arcade tutorial rewards which includes Papuru as a playable character because for some retarded reason there's no tutorial on the PC version.
The ONLY way to get her as a filthy gaijin online player is to pay a dude on the Bombergirl discord to play through the tutorial for you on an actual Bombergirl cabinet with your konami pass. :reimu_sigh:
@Tamamo@lapin It was worse for PC players at the start honestly. On top of the gacha and arcade exclusive characters, there was still the arcade Pay-per-play method included, meaning you couldn't boot the game up without buying some Japanese gift card and buying Konami credits.
@Tamamo@lapin Same reason the rest of their pile of exclusive Japanese arcade games aren't given home versions, because of money. They can charge the arcades for the cabinets, they can charge players per play, the can charge for all the collectable amusement pass cards they make, and so on and so forth. DLC doesn't work out the same, especially when you'd need to make the DLC still visible to people who don't own it if you include online
Also they did try at one point to region lock Bombergirl, which is why the PC beta was pulled offline for a while at some point. They were getting too many complaints from native players about laggy games due to filthy gaijins. Guess they just figured everyone forgot about the game enough to not need to implement it (and to their credit, most gaijins who played the initial beta did end up forgetting or just not caring)
@Iffine@lapin I thought they took the beta offline because they forgot to encrypt the files and hackers figured out a way to run the game offline in no time.
I tried the hacked version but you can only play against the braindead AI.
That said I'd only play sub to two waifus. Kafka from star rail (she's got mind control powers and is big Ara Ara energy so you don't get the choice, she will force you to submit) and MGQ Tamamo.....cuz you literally cannot correct her or win vs. her no matter how hard you try. She's just way stronger then you and will ALWAYS win and correct you instead. So really it's not so much I'd play sub to those two....
It's more that I, nor anyone else can actually fucking win or reverse things vs them :doge_laugh: so I accepted the inevitable. Tho I would resist out of stubborn pride (as long as I could).
