I think my new headphones are fucking with my jaw :crabyss:
not a consequence I expected to be part of the experience

sneeden,

@RustyCrab how?

@sneeden I am not sure if it's direct. The pressure on the side of my head may be making me clench my teeth. I am catching myself doing it every once in a while.

My tinnitus kicked up after years of absence and I can feel pressure in my jaw that goes along with it.

sneeden,

@RustyCrab that sounds like a very strange and unpleasant set of circumstances. Are your headphones open-back or closed? I've heard that closed-back headphones can make tinnitus worse

@sneeden open back and I am keeping them on low volume. I don't think it's from actual sound. I've had this before and it's probably from jaw inflammation.
