LDR oscillator, the green trace is the voltage at the led, the white voltage is at the top of the capacitor. The purple line is the voltage across the capacitor.

@RueNahcMohr shouldn't white be green + purple?

@wolf480pl white and green are the real traces, purple is calculated ;]

@RueNahcMohr no no, looking at the schematic, there's:

GND <- LED <- probeA <- CAP <- probe B

you said:
green is probe A
white is probe B

so purple is B - A
a.k.a. white - green

but if you look at the graphs:

white spikes
purple: saw
green: spikes on top of saw

so it'd appear that green = purple + white, IOW:

purple = green - white

something's backwards

@wolf480pl ah, yea, I had to switch the channels in the math, your right, purple = CH2 - CH1 (green - white)
!! good catch!

@RueNahcMohr ok but are you sure green is just the LED?

(I was trying to make sense of why this oscilltaor works and failed, so idk which way the data makes sense)

@wolf480pl hahah
There are only 2 nodes in the entire circuit!!! Before I made to post I had to check like 4 times, that the green (channel 2) was on the LED.
Give me a shout if you would like me to get the waveforms with the same zero reference :]

It would also help if I do a trace of the circuit with the LED and LDR not linked. :]
