This fanciful "mafia" you propose, one that presumably guides outcomes of competitions such as these towards what you forthrightly imply to be an otherwise unjustified level of mofu appreciation? It would require a level of coordination and loyalty between disparate parties that, frankly, rather beggars belief.
There's no Fluffy Tail Mafia, Mister Snake Friend, the lack of which one hopes shall not have to be made clear by more... intimate means should these rather unkind imputations continue.
