I saw this as a kid once and have never found out what it was before I just read it's called Fata Morgana and occurs when the color of the sea perfectly matches the sky. It's been a mystery for me all this time
I'm just realizing what a mirage looks like at age 40. Or Fata Morgana as it's also called. Kinda embarrassing to not simply have researched it before. Could have solved the mystery about the flying object I saw as a kid
