@theorytoe @kirby every single commie at my work was loudly declaring that twitter was dead in 2023 and now if you even ask about it they just stare at you blankly like you're insane.

@RustyCrab @theorytoe @kirby whenever I see threads of supposed expert opinions on forums like hackernews, I always think of how they were claiming it'd go offline within the week back when Elon fired most of the staff. Now if someone brings it up they claim that it occasionally going down is what they meant.
