@shitpisscum there is a spiral seam down the side of the can. The contents are under pressure, and the can will burst open with a gentle blow. It is approximately as complicated as cracking an egg, but the goo in the can is not quite as messy as an egg.

I just press on one side of the seam with a spoon or my finger to make it pop open.

Sometimes it'll pop open as you're peeling it.
