If you are extremely lazy, you can get by just wiping everything with alcohol and a towel, but there will be a lot of gunk, dust and dead skin cells under and in between the keys that get real nasty over time. You can try and clean a bit better with some compressed air, but it's not that effective.
The best thing you can do is to pull off every cap (if you have a mechanical keyboard, chances are it came with a cap puller), and then clean everything.
