@McMongoose I use this for UC
lowres, bad anatomy, bad hands, text, error, missing fingers, extra digit, fewer digits, cropped, worst quality, low quality, normal quality, very displeasing, displeasing, jpeg artifacts, signature, watermark, username, blurry,

As for sampler stuff and other settings here is a screenshot of them

First I use add quality tags because it really doesn't interfere with anything, but keep in the back of your mind that they will interfere if you want to do "low quality" stuff.

Second, i don't use UC presets because they interfere with loli and other NSFW stuff. You can still do it with it on but I keep it off.

Third, the UC I use is the basic one with "worst quality, low quality, normal quality, very displeasing, displeasing" added. Those tags are novelAI specific and control what quality of art gets used in the generation. Look in the docs for all those tags because they can be used to control the look of art. Like if you want a very simple art style then putting the higher quality tags in the UC may help.

Fourth, my settings with samplers tends to fluctuate. But I keep stuff in the "free opus generation" settings and then bump up the quality later with currency so I can save currency.

Some final notes on settings:
Prompt guidance should not be changed, only change it if you're not getting what you want. This is also for some advanced stuff but it's not relevant for what you're doing.

Sampler choice doesn't matter unless you're trying to focus on art styles. Auto is different from "SMEA+DYN". SMEA may fuck with certain generations but I haven't tested enough to figure out what exactly it fucks with, but overall it makes images look "better" and it's free in opus until you bump up the quality, then cost of using this gets tacked on.

I don't mess with advanced settings.
I don't see a reason to use undesired content strength.

Prompt guidance rescale is useful as it will change how the image looks, .80-1.00 is the danger point where it damages images.

Noise schedule shouldn't be messed with. Apparently prompt guidance rescale is used with this but it's not helpful, I don't like messing with this and have to turn it off when I want to generate something else.
