Its not because most reloaders are supplied by the industry. There are not hundreds of thousdands of people melting down lead wheel weights and jacketing their own rounds. They get em in a box from Hornaday along with the primers you already admit need manufacturing. Unless you have lots of copper and lead laying around in the sticks.
