It looks like a modern fake create so china could claim something like that it has some super ancient ties to china or some secret ancient technology. Those reliefs are way too clean, as are the conditions in the cave. Making it way over the top and too clean is exactly the type of retarded shit I'd expect China to do.
China has a weakness and a tell. They have to make everything bigger and grander than the next guy. The Wall, the dam, the aircraft carrier, etc. So they're the type of country that would put gold leaf in a forgery of an ancient text and would think it proves it's extra glorious.
