@Griffith@a7 I finally got to sit down today to design a system from the ground up thats been in my head for months. I made great progress when suddenly I get a notice that we have an URGER NEED to replace this random fucking subsystem that they really need to hire a specialist for but they won't because they're cheap and I'm one of like 5 people that isn't an outsourced swarthoid
@RustyCrab@a7 The dream is having the spreadsheet laid out and just giving orders to people you pay every week, and pretty much having it be that week after week.
@Griffith@a7 like I look at that thr manager above my manager does on a daily basis and its not even hard. Its just bullshit. You're ticking off boxes, dealing with legalease and slathering globohomo corpospeak on normal human language. I have to occasionally dip into that and I regret every minute of it.

But honestly, the reality of the pyramid is it gets easier the higher up you go. That's the conceit of the entire thing. boomers know it and I think they justify it by saying their underlings will get their job someday. It's BS I'm not gonna wait until I'm 50 for work to become bearable I will make infinity non-friend peoples lives difficult to have a nice life.
