@binkle@theropologist you're thinking like an individual though, not like a mob. Mobs dgaf about historical relevance, they just like to have an easily identifiable enemy. Nazis are good for that because they have a lot of bold, sinister iconography. It sticks in your head, especially when you're a kid watching say, Indiana Jones and the one where he had to fight Nazis (wasn't that most of them? I don't remember)
