I honestly think anime studios would be best off using ai to dub and translate shows. obviously, working with a company that acts professionally and actually hires competent voice actors would be the most ideal, but that isn't really an option anymore

@BigTony I hear people suggest voicing main characters in video games with real people, then voicing all the background NPCs with AI and using that to make them much more talkative.

But i think doing that will get old fast, just like AI gen images it will quickly start sounding bland and samey.
