@nik@allison@a7@shrimp@mischievoustomato that would never happen for me, I’ve been looking into immortality from the moment I could read. It wouldn’t do me any good at all either removing that
@shrimp@allison@a7@nik@mischievoustomato I spoke of ego death which I’m led to believe is quite different, anyway it doesn’t matter who brought it up let’s end it now I’m muting this thread
@arcana@allison@a7@nik@mischievoustomato I'm just offering some advice. If you don't want to be challenged, then don't make wild claims about being immortal and then refuse to elaborate.
It’s why biological immortality is a must, it’s my last chance to avoid the worst possible fate possible, that the mere thought of it catches me in a loop that leads to me vomiting and feeling deeply ill
@shrimp@allison@a7@nik@mischievoustomato it’s an impossible comprehension, I cannot comprehend my own death, it causes a major problem that is like a mental DOS attack as my mind gets stuck in a loop
It’s extremely disorientating and sickening, and this is why I must not fail regardless of the cost
@arcana@allison@a7@nik@mischievoustomato I keep the idea at arms length. I know it's there, I don't like it, but I keep it pushed to the back of the shelf so I don't have to behold it directly
@arcana@a7@allison@mischievoustomato@nik that said I probably don't have as much trouble with it as some people since I'm at least 50% sure reincarnation of some sort is real
@shrimp@allison@a7@nik@mischievoustomato I have strong reason to believe I'm in my last incarnation, not that reincarnating is fun, it's a horrible experience and it is a punishment
