I have never been diagnosed and if I am I have only mild symptoms but we all had similar experiences and it's good to feel not alone

@sun I'm pretty sure a lot of what people blame on autism is just symptoms of being isolated for a long time

@RustyCrab well like the big ones for me were fabric sensitivity and really really really hating tags on clothes

@sun @RustyCrab It wouldn't surprise me if you had it and you are just better at masking the symptoms or redirecting them.

@sim @RustyCrab its a combination of symptoms getting milder and getting better at mitigating symptoms

@sun @RustyCrab It probably helps if you are living a life that plays into your strengths so the symptoms don't compound each other too.

@sun can't say I've ever experienced being sensitive to fabrics unless they were just itchy but I think I understand what you're saying. I have pretty bad misophonia.

@RustyCrab @sun >misophonia

Same here. Being stuck in a small office with someone who constantly wheezes, coughs, smacks their lips, and burps drives me insane

@RustyCrab @sun there is no such thing as autism. there is permanent neurological damage and the mass recategorizing of low emotional intelligence and impulse control.

there is also no such thing as dyslexia, or viruses, or nuclear bombs.
