What the fallout show has taught me is that Bethesda is incapable of writing a fallout script without the central plot involving someone's missing and/or kidnapped family member
@justnormalkorean@graf well thats primarily because bethesda has just given up on adding mod support to it since no one is playing it anymore, first bethesda game to go 6 months without official mod support, it is well and truly joever.
@justnormalkorean@graf >Make a giant empty game basically built for modders to add their own stuff to it since you couldn't be bothered
>Don't let modders add their own stuff since you never release mod tools and never update the game at all whatsoever
@justnormalkorean@Shadowman311 fallout 3 slaps despite what people try to tell you. the gunplay is a little janky but if you play TTW you don't have that issue
@DrRyanSkelton@justnormalkorean@graf Yeah, and the graphics do it no favors, they worked in fallout 3 because the desolate landscapes of the capital wasteland had a certain charm to them, NV is just boring desert pockmarked by random enemies.
@justnormalkorean@graf@Shadowman311 sorry, that was the first poast that popped up when i just reopened Brave. just got back from Civil War opening night. worse than i expected.
@Shadowman311@justnormalkorean@graf you think that's bad? forza was in development for 6 years, and they've currently got 7 times less people playing it than the previous generation of one of their own games, and 14x less than a competitor's game released in 2013. another example is ksp 2 vs ksp 1. it's not just bethseda, it seems like every game studio decided stop producing anything worth playing after 2020 happened.
