not really. we've done this probably 2 dozen times since 2021. it doesn't increase donations, at all. nothing does because people in the circle that occupy this site don't want their identities tied to it.
the difference is we have shifted from donations to accepting payment for badges, we are selling a digital service and that is under their acceptable businesses as we are selling a digital good. this is a stop gap until i find a permanent solution by reaching out to providers and asking them to work with us.
