@charliebrownau @kybermace they are issuing bindist tho, so you dont have to compile anymore, they have binaries (also have to go out of your way for this)

@graf @kybermace @charliebrownau Could be worse, could be flatpak or snap.
Hexchat just does normal distribution anyway, but I don't think much of it. I used it once because I was trying to get a specific thing from one bot, and thought it was failing on pidgin, turned out that particular bot happened to be down at the time. Pidgin can do xdcc fine.
