@Shlomo did you know that if you host a matrix homeserver, any time you join a room your server tracks the event and state of every user in that room. so if you run a public server and somebody joins the 770k user russian intel rooms or the 100k+ user matrix HQ rooms, your server tracks every login and logout, every username change, every join and part, every avatar and every message and edit for all of those users forever (by default)
you dont want it to? you better learn python and database maintenance because there's no other way to deal with it as a normal end-user. tough fucking shit nigger
