Having a visible ALT badge can trick us sighted folks into thinking the toot has equitable alt text/image description and is safe to boost.

Unfortunately, some sighted folks abuse the alt text field and put a joke or easter egg there for sighted people, ignoring the real purpose of the field.

Which leaves us to try to develop the habit of mousing over to check that the alt text is accurate and equitable before boosting.
