Stop giving slack to the argument of "Parents Rights."
Parents have responsibilities to uphold the rights of their children, not to control and dominate them into submission and assimilation.
Loving parents are not focused on the right to control their children, they are focused on their responsibilities to care, love, respect, and provide for their children.
The US is the only country in the world which is not party to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
There was a proposal by Russia a few years ago to include so-called "Parental Rights" in the convention, and it was widely rejected as it inherently is at odds with the idea of the rights of a child to be heard, respected, protected, a right to their own name and identity.
In the US, rejection of the convention is specifically because of conservative Republicans who believe that children should not have rights, and that only the authority of parents is what matters.
In case there is any extra confusion in this thread from people who are ignorant to what is happening regarding #trans#genocide in the US, the concept of "Parents Rights" is one of the primary tools that anti-trans activists, legislators, and judges, are utilizing to undertake trans genocide. If you're not aware of this, please take the time to educate yourself on this tactic before arguing for "Parents Rights", or before positing irrelevant nuance, or before advocating some sort of middle ground on human rights.

It's cool to see not only a mascot to a cool, ethical project, but one that represents the people and community behind it. Plus, she represents the often underappreciated trans community in the tech space, which has helped contribute to the technological progress we see today.
