some opsec tip: if you and the person you are DMing via chats both delete the conversation, it's gone forever. if one party deletes their half manually, it's also gone. like @WhiteAmericanEskimo who asked me to help him with something because he donated money to poast today whom i was going to tell I wasn't for sale but he deleted prior to my ability to do that

@graf Yep. That was a mistake on my part. Poorly written, poorly thought out. I should have just asked for your help. Funny the mistakes we make sometimes. I admit fault. It felt wrong when I wrote it, but I wrote it anyway. Sometimes I have a uncertain sense of myself when asking for favors from people I don't really know but respect, and I dislike asking for favors but I needed help with a matter of social media and the internet.

So, to recap, for everyone who didn't know the background, I insulted graf by asking him for a favor and mentioning that I hoped he would do it since I donated a decent amount to the site. Terrible form on my part and abominable manners.

Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa.

At least I figured out how offensive I came off so I deleted it hoping that graf would not see it.

My apologies to graf and to Poast as a whole. This site has been a godsend and I truly appreciate the openness, the anime, the acceptance of my NatSoc values, my Boomer-like manners, and my clumsy idiocy sometimes, but that's just me. I'm a mix of brilliance and occasional stupidity. I don't mind being called out for it. It's a regular feature of me that many here have already learnt. Carry on.

@Terry No one has said it yet, so I'm going to say it. Part of this war is clearly to genocide the native Whites of the Ukraine through forced conscription into a futile attempt at fighting the Russians. There are many other reasons as well, but this is yet another jewish organized genocide of Christian Whites. The government of the Ukraine is jewish, an arm of ZOG that promotes the Globohomo LGBT agenda, and has been actively laundering money (including the "aid" we send them) and funneling it other places on behalf of ZOG. Note that the jewish scammer Sam Bankman-Fried was using the Ukraine project for his scamming, and most jewish politicians in the US are fully supportive of this pointless war. Note that I am not "pro-Russian" because I am not taking a side in this horrible depravity. I also wonder if this is not to provide a new country to run to when the jew elite need to run - this time to their old homeland of Khazaria and the Pale of Settlement. My point is that this is a full-scale genocide, carried out under the auspicies of war, that is occurring right in front of the world and most people have no clue. @dew_the_dew @n3f_X Ah. I get it now - why the Japanese behave this way and why their birth rate is dropping so precipitously. They have succumbed to the poison of having a fully urban life, and they've severed the tie that connects a people to the earth, like severing the umbilical cord from the mother to the baby too early. Urban living is so divorced from real life that if a people lives that way for many generations they lose their way, like an academic who has lived in his ivory tower after spending his life in academia, never having had a real job. This is a form of modern insanity never seen before because while man has lived in large groups since the time of Hammurabi, they have never been so divorced from the guts of life, so they begin to approximate life in a manner of fantasy rather than directly, getting your hands in the dirt. No wonder the birth rate is dropping. Living with the visions of fictional girls is much different from having your face fully in the quim of a woman during a particularly scentful time of the month on the spur of a moment before she's had time to wash yet still reveling in it. Urbanity is death to the human species if fully immersed for too long. Convenience, like Uncle Ted said, is poison to man; now imagine that in spades, never having your hands in the dirt of life. Additionally, they have an ethnostate, so they never have the need to fear while walking home in the dark from the African hominids, so they live without the primal nature of that emotion, only the anxiety and angst of an urban existence. Sad. They were once a proud and fierce people from the time of the samurai to the islands they defended in World War II. Modernity is a curse.

@graf I'm very happy you found a solution to the problem. Maybe the public brainstorming session the other day was fruitful? This community deserves to survive and thrive. It's so refreshing, whimsical, and fun compared to the other site which needn't be named. Congratulations. We can't lose this site.

So I make an effort to not be a dot commie so I went ahead yesterday and created a crypto account and put some money towards the upkeep of this site. If you aren't aware Po.ast was deplatformed by their payment service so the only way to support the site is through crypto. I ended up using an LibertyX ATM and the Mycellum wallet as suggested by @teknomunk. Here are a couple of thoughts and observations.

First if the ATM doesn't say Bitcoin, or the name of the specific brand (LibertyX in this case) or has a big bold button asking if you want to buy crypto something is wrong. The first place I went claimed to have a LIbertyX ATM but as far as I could tell it was just a regular ATM and that was because it was. It had been recently swapped out but Google Maps hadn't caught up yet. Luckily I had several other choices nearby. When I went to the next location it said Bitcoin and LibertyX right on the exterior and when I looked at the screen there was a buy bitcoin button.

Second go ahead and connect your wallet and your atm app before you even go to do it. Not a big deal but just easier to have that ready.

Third they take the fees out of the amount to buy. For example i bought $100 and the fees were $14 so I received $86. So if you actually want $100 you'll need to anticipate those fees.

Fourth something i've noticed over the years is people think if they can't send $10,000 there's no point to sending anything which is ridiculous. let me note this is a real world observation. I used to be the factotum and general dogs body for GMI and I came across this attitude all the time. I plan to send $20 a month and if each Gab refugee did the same the monthly expenses would be covered with some excess for the proprietors. Please don't be a dot commie the folks that run this place have created a cool place for us to parade our diagnosis and it behooves us to pony up to keep it running.

@ArmchairEconomist01 I also came from Gab about a month ago and had the same reaction. Now I get it, and like it. Anime is great for a number of reasons (counter-signalling, gatekeeping, subculture, rejection of feminism, White Identitarianism, etc) . In a way it is a sane response to an insane world. Just go with it. I enjoy it now. It's cozy.
