They have succumbed to the poison of having a fully urban life, and they've severed the tie that connects a people to the earth, like severing the umbilical cord from the mother to the baby too early. Urban living is so divorced from real life that if a people lives that way for many generations they lose their way, like an academic who has lived in his ivory tower after spending his life in academia, never having had a real job. This is a form of modern insanity never seen before because while man has lived in large groups since the time of Hammurabi, they have never been so divorced from the guts of life, so they begin to approximate life in a manner of fantasy rather than directly, getting your hands in the dirt. No wonder the birth rate is dropping. Living with the visions of fictional girls is much different from having your face fully in the quim of a woman during a particularly scentful time of the month on the spur of a moment before she's had time to wash yet still reveling in it. Urbanity is death to the human species if fully immersed for too long. Convenience, like Uncle Ted said, is poison to man; now imagine that in spades, never having your hands in the dirt of life. Additionally, they have an ethnostate, so they never have the need to fear while walking home in the dark from the African hominids, so they live without the primal nature of that emotion, only the anxiety and angst of an urban existence.
