That's kind of my point though. Since God is commonly thought of as singular to a monotheist, shouldn't the word be capitalized when you use it in a situation that implies a singular god? I suppose I mean it's contextual, and in the context it was being used in I simply found it an odd distinction. I did try with Devil and that didn't want to force capitalization on me either. So just an angle I wasn't considering.

Also, is there a specific word for God? Like do we come up with a new one? Or do you simply capitalize the word when you're referring to the entity?

And isn't this common in the English language? Context dependence?

Like "that's a dog" and "you're a dog" mean two totally different things.

I'm very tired and any inconsistencies Me, I, Mine can be safely ignored. :cupofcoffee:

I think we're ultimately on the same wavelength, but a combination of perhaps bad grammar and definite issues with the fluidity of "what to call deity X" is where my hangups lie. Still, it would be nice to have I suppose a singular word that can be used for the name of said deity, instead of having to know all the deity's names ahead of time.

Discovery S1 is okay but drops off rather heavily after that, and Picard is hot dog shit from the start. Though they do drop some lore about Picard you never hear in TNG, but rather controversial.

The lore dumps in DS9, the intrigue, as well as the tie ins to both the Voyager and TNG timelines is interesting as fuck. Also I liked Gul Dukat's arch.

Though it is basically "Space Holocaust the Series" to be fair.
