I'll just make a note though that the article is talking about the free "Outlook for Windows" store app that comes preinstalled (or force-installed on update), not the Outlook application that's part of Office. If you're using that with self-hosted (or at least not Microsoft Account) mail, you're probably in the clear.

    Starting to think I might have to build my own bookcases from half-inch plywood, but then I'd need access to a big CNC drill because there's no way I could drill the lag holes accurately by hand

    @icedquinn that's possible too but you'd need to use two cuts of plywood for each side, one drilled and the other not. And that still doesn't mean that I'd get the accuracy correct in all three axes for each hole. Better to machine that part of the work, dirll-through or not.
