Spent the day with my wife today! We had a really good time. :DisaCH_Cozy:
We went to the store and decided to do a little at-home chopped sort of thing. She had a few ingredients she had to make a dessert out of.
The ingredients were: Chocolate covered Strawberries Ricotta Cheese Oranges and some kind of cookies. (I forgot the exact kind of cookies, and we seem to have thrown away the label, lol.)
She made this neat little orange cheesecake with a strawberry chocolate glaze!
We’ll definitely be doing more fun things like this! We really enjoyed ourselves.
Then we sat on the couch and watched a few episodes of chopped together. Very cozy, fun day! :DisaCH_Cozy:
Finally implemented caching to the site i’ve been working on.
Yes, I know I should have done it sooner, but I was far too lazy to figure out the issue I was running into.
It was entirely my fault and had to do with my wacky goofy silly layout structure.
Now you might be asking “Did you fix your layout structure?” Nope, I specifically put in more effort so that I did not have to mess with my layout structure. I am NOT refactoring this shit. lol
I was looking for a way to convert an old image I had made, but lost the project file for into a vector graphic. Found some cool options online that use AI and honestly provided a better result. But, they were all one of those, they show you the image, but won’t let you download until you pay a chunk of money. I’m not against paying for things, mind you, but figured there may be something free I could use instead. (since I just wanted to convert a single image) This was more than suitable for my needs.
@disabled What am I reading there? I read it multiple times until I realized it's complete garbage. It wouldn't be the first time I need some tries to get it.
Made a Marinade with Butter, MSG, Salt, Pepper, Paprika and Garlic Powder (probably some other spices, I forgot. But these are the main ones) and some Korean style sauce that we got from the market.
Had the Bison soak in the marinade overnight in a little plastic baggy.
Placed the Bison steak on a hot pan, didn’t even need to butter it because the marinade and the fat from the bison provided plenty of oil for the pan. Added some Saffron to the oil and mixed it up.
Cooked the steak on each side for about 6 and a half minutes, basting with the juices the whole time. Resulted in a Medium Rare steak.
She really liked it and finished the whole thing :Disa_Yay:
