Ich brauche mal etwas Hilfe. Ich suche Systeme, wo Anzeiger der SaF Kassel GmbH in Betrieb sind, damit ich auf diesem Weg Informationen zur Ansteuerung erfragen kann. Der Hersteller ist insolvent, daher ist dort nachfragen keine Option mehr. Wenn ihr dieses Logo an einem Display am Busbahnhof, Flughafen o.Ä. gesehen habt, sagt mir doch bitte mal Bescheid! Gerne Boost :) danke!

seeing how many older display controllers are based on an 8051, I really ought to learn how to reverse engineer its firmware. I've heard it isn't exactly pretty...

we hoped it died a long time ago then patents timed out.

But looking into the architecture and its history, especially why it became popular, is quite fascinating imho.
