"Influencers" are really just another form of marketing. Companies like them because they're deemed "relatable" by their target demographic, so said target is more receptive.
If you're paying attention to influencers and buying products because of them, you're just doing what those companies want.
@tk Influencers have replaced critics because they have nothing bad to say about the products they're paid to promote. They are used on social media and TV ads, and it seems to have affected the decision-making process of people I know. One time a relative tried to buy a product that didn't exist.
Let Logan Paul be the prime example of why influencers are snake oil salesmen that seek riches from people who 'trust' them. Dumb fucks for falling for MLM 2.0.
@mangeurdenuage They likely done what some Chinese SSD brands do, by sticking warning and critical temperatures next to each other so it performs at 100% irrespective of long-term heat damage.
First day with my new audio setup. Don't worry I'm not getting on the audiophile train or anything.
First thing I did was load up some 192k FLACs of Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique and noticed some lack of flute resolution (definitely colored brown when it should be purple). I manually adjusted the wave balance until the signal stopped ovulating. Some distortion persisted until I checked my balanced XLR cables and discovered that they were not entirely oxygen free. I immediately ordered some new ones on amazon for a few hundred dollars. I also tested the amp and found elevated Thetan levels. Does anybody know how to reduce those?
