First day with my new audio setup. Don't worry I'm not getting on the audiophile train or anything.
First thing I did was load up some 192k FLACs of Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique and noticed some lack of flute resolution (definitely colored brown when it should be purple). I manually adjusted the wave balance until the signal stopped ovulating. Some distortion persisted until I checked my balanced XLR cables and discovered that they were not entirely oxygen free. I immediately ordered some new ones on amazon for a few hundred dollars. I also tested the amp and found elevated Thetan levels. Does anybody know how to reduce those?
@RustyCrab have you heard of these new specialized instruments that can drastically modulate the audible frequency response curve? And get this, they work for any audio setup. Doesn't matter what brand your speakers are. Crazy right? Now of course they are rather difficult to use, but trust me, it's worth it! Just ask the nearest licensed birthing person for a quick tutorial.
@RustyCrab im not yet audiophile, but i did get some edifiers for my birthday this year, fucking amazing coming from logitechs, just gave family open ended option "some speakers that sound nice mine are stuck at mono" and they went all the fuck out.
@r000t@RustyCrab There are audiophile companies on Amazon still selling 10 megabit cables and switches for thousands of dollars, while one page over you can get dirt-cheap Chinese fiber optic equipment that is insanely better than any copper wire.
