I thought that Gen Z would be the generation that rejected the leftist takeover of our culture, and although a lot have, most lean heavily democrat and a large percentage identify as LGBT. Honestly I don't think it's right to saddle a bunch of teens and 20 somethings with saving western civilization or dismantling capitalism or whatever. All I know is that Gen Alpha was born into the woke era and they'll have an even harder time buying homes and starting families than Gen Z and Millennials. You think traditionalism is dying now, with them it'll be totally dead.

@PraxisOfEvil Gen Z is simply more cleanly bifurcated compared to other generations. Boomers are a meme because they're all identical, whereas zoomers are like 80% fucked in the head with an extremely solid 20% who know better than to advertise their powerlevel and worth.

Speaking purely from utility, I know I can entrust my life to a zoomer who's risen above media consumption and learned a skill. That's what to be whitepilled about, not some lofty promise that they'll somehow don jackboots and declare Total Nigger Death. If you see an intelligent, hardworking White kid under 25, they're on the same page, they're just out of any positions to act on those beliefs.

@Kerosene @PraxisOfEvil That's why I'm optimistic. Once the boomers die, nobody is stopping the shitlibs from going hard against us, but nobody is going to stop us from separating other than our own weakness. The competency crisis already demonstrates how that conflict will go.

Our biggest problem is that we're not united in meatspace, but as industry shrinks we'll all end up gathering anyway. Once that happens the US will resemble Brazil or Aparthied South Africa with pockets of advanced civilization dotted about a high crime wilderness.

To be honest I wish you guys wouldn't bug the new girls too much because I miss having @beccasine and @lutheranhousewife

It was very helpful having some quality, cogent girls in the mix to help give their feminine POV on certain things. Helps to sanity-check your theories and takes when a good married woman looks at it and says "yeah, I never thought about it that way but it tracks"

Also shows that there are good ones out there, since the vast majority are totally absent in male spaces (for good reason, since it is playing with fire sometimes, but there can be good circles out there)

Special credit and thanks to @mushroom_soup for sticking around, she's the only crafty girl around that I know of now.

I miss the days when "no girls on the internet" was understood as "you don't expose any information, not even your sex" but most online spaces have moved past that. On fedi especially its difficult to have a good conversation without slipping up and spilling some info. So, if you're a woman on the online, you might as well start discussing quilting or cooking or whatever other hobbies you like and let others come to the obvious conclusion.

Women like a sense of adventure and danger, but not so much like getting mugged and beheaded. They need a stable ship to sail the unsteady seas. Modern life psyops them into thinking they can become stable (lol, lmao ☕️) but deep down they realize it's a farce.

If you can exude that quality you're immediately above average.

I took 30 seconds on Wikipedia and saw "Weinberg" and promptly kept looking. Later found out he sold data before DDG and wasn't surprised.

Apparently people still used his service with his past publicly known and only now are people surprised?

Student loans cannot be nulled by bankruptcy because the transaction fundamentally is ethereal and non-taxable. This is a power imbalance where the loan recipient cant rightly "give back/undo" their knowledge acquisition in the same way a house can be taken from you for not paying back loans.

The real way to fix education is to make it all free, which is basically already true. If I can find all the resources to learn a subject online, there's zero reason to go to school for it. If I can't learn it because I don't have the resources (tools/equipment/machinery), then the problem corrects itself because said resources can be taken from me if I don't repay my loans.

@deprecated_ii @Hoss Interesting perspective, I'd say it's a combination, though I agree that the degree should be revoked at bankruptcy.

Certain industries, however, can be gamed with this process. Speaking from experience, I could still land a job without my degree, because I learned all the relevant hands-on knowledge to work the job. Employers need technicians and don't care about the slip of paper saying I wasted time in a classroom. That's something the govt can't take from me if I simply choose not to pay my debts.
